During sleep, muscles in the neck relax and for some people the soft tissue in the upper throat vibrates. This makes the sound we know as snoring.<\/p>\n<p>Some snorers also stop breathing &#8211; a medical condition called <strong>Sleep Apnoea<\/strong>. This is caused by the airway closing completely during sleep thereb<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">y preventing snorers from breathing for a while.
